“Not too sweet” Ice Cream Brand
Description: Personal Ice cream endevor catering towards Asian Americans with an emphasis on asian inspire flavors and controllable sweetness levels
Why it Failed: Marketing in the wrong areas and overwhelmed by the beuracracy of creating a milk based business. In reality I liked making Ice Cream but not the selling.
What I Learned:
Washington DC Herb Garden
Description: A small hydroponic setup for the Perkins & Will Office DC meant to provide herbs for a staff of around 75 people
Why it Failed: The herbs grew too slowly and then too quickly and ultimately were not utilized quickly enough before they outgrew the pot. Some people were wary of using herbs they were unfamilar with.
What I Learned: The importance of being able to market when the herbs were avalible to pick, and also clarify (give examples of dishes the herbs could be used in) to relive the confusion.
